Currently computers and software have gained a lot of space into the engineering companies, process industries and equipment design companies as well. at the beginning of computer era a few software engineers were able to use computers and software and now every professional try to learn how to improve or make faster and easier its job using software packages. Talking about chemical engineers. I consider that our process design skills can be improved quite high how we want. It was my expirience when I started to work in a process engineering company. At the beginning I was not able to draw a simple line using AUTOCAD but with the time I have become a a very skilled process designer just using AUTOCAD. I could say AUTOCAD makes process goes into reality. this exacts us to learn others skills that Chemical engineers do not have by formation such as space and geometric perception, detailing, graphics memory and mechanical design. However to know about process and equipment through UNIT OPERATIONS gives us a big advantage comparing to mechanical engineers. We can detail better process equipment than Mechanical engineers even to do fabrication drawings.
Summarizing AUTOCAD is very useful for chemical engineers who work designing processes and equipment. it is our main tool for our job
Some of the companies that are employing chemical engineers are BASF, Clariant, Novartis, Shell and Degussa. Chemical engineers can work in chemical industry, manufacturing industry and pharmaceutical industry.
Chemical engineers play an incredibly important role in modern society. These engineers use chemistry to turn raw materials into products like plastics, petrochemicals, and medicine. They also play a key role in advancing waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation.
Biomolecular engineering is an engineering principle and practice of chemical engineers. Its purpose is the manipulation of molecules with biological origin.
Methane is a chemical compound (CH4), not a chemical element; methane is important as fuel or as feedstock for the chemical industry.
Yes chemistry plays an important role in engineering. There is a special engineering course named chemical engineering, further every first year engineering student studies chemistry. As an example if a mechanical engineer knows the chemical composition of alloys and metals it will be useful. Similarly for a civil engineer to avoid corrosion of the steel bars inside concrete he/she has to know the chemical composition of concrete and the steel rod. There are many other examples.
autocad uses for the engineers(civil,mechanical,electrical)
AutoCad is a software program for computer aided design and drafting. There are a number of different professions that use AutoCad, such as engineers and architects.
Autocad is a design program used by engineers. You can receive training at any major universities, as well as many community colleges. Unfortunately, you will not be able to receive autocad training at any medical institution.
AutoCAD technicians are responsible for providing clients with technical drawings of new products. To do this technicians use computer software. Basically, AutoCAD technicians help to bring to life the ideas of engineers and inventors.
Education for Chemical Engineers was created in 2006.
Institution of Chemical Engineers was created in 1922.
