Ketchup is more viscous than dish soap because it has a higher concentration of solids like tomatoes and sugars, which contribute to its thickness. Dish soap, on the other hand, is designed to be more fluid in order to easily spread and dissolve in water for cleaning.

Do dish detergent or clothing detergent make more bubbles?

Ok first of all, NEVER put dish soap in either the dishwasher or laundry machine! It both ends up as a disaster that costs you a fortune, I know by experience... It reall depends on what dish detergent and soap detergent you use. The liquid soaps would make more bubbles faster, but the amount really depends on your brands. I use sunlight 2x ultra laundry detergent and Cascade stain fighter + Dawn. The sunlight makes more bubbles.

What happens when you add dish detergent to water?

When you add dish detergent to water, the detergent molecules create a barrier between the water molecules and the surface tension is reduced. This allows the water to more easily spread and penetrate dirt or grease, making it easier to clean.

Why does a q-tip with dish detergent on it make color dye mixed in milk go away?

The dish detergent breaks down the surface tension of the milk. This disrupts the molecules of the color dye, causing it to disperse and mix more evenly with the milk, making it appear as though the color has "disappeared."

Are Basaltic lavas are generally hotter and more viscous than andesite lavas?

No, basaltic lavas are typically hotter and less viscous than andesite lavas. Basaltic lavas have lower silica content, which results in their lower viscosity and ability to flow more easily. Andesite lavas, on the other hand, have higher silica content and are more viscous.
