NaOH is a strong base, so it makes a strong alkaline solution in water
You need the following equipment: quart sized mason jar and a plastic mason jar lid, 2 six inch x1/2 inch stainless bolts&nuts, clear tubing and brass adapter(and wires). First, put 3 holes in the lid put the bolts in the holes opposite each other, these are your electrodes. Then place the brass adapter for the tubing in the last hole, seal with rubber cement. Fill the mason jar with distilled water and 1 tblspn baking soda, place the lid on the jar and tighten. Last attach the tubing to the brass fitting and hook the wires up to your electrodes and a 12 volt power supply. - EDIT- That is the most basic way to make a HHO generator. In theory it will not work very well and you won't yield very good results. The best way to make a HHO generator is to use either a spiraling stainless steel wire design and a stainless steel plate design. Making a HHO generator is quite simple but to get it to work well is a different story. Without a detailed instruction manual on how to do this you aren't going to yield great results from your generator. Did you know that having a HHO Generator fitted to your vehicle can increase fuel efficiency by up to 60% or more? Because you're increasing the octane rating of the fuel by adding the HHO into the engine, you actually burn less fuel because the fuel you do use is able to fully combust so less is wasted out of the exhaust. It's really clever stuff! Check out related links for more information on how to build an HHO generator and how to install on it your vehicle.
You guys are suicidal, viewer should know ! ( there is no such a thing like HHO or brownsgas, what you make is OxyHydrogen aka Hydroxy) and it is not a 'combustible mix' but actually an 'explosive mixture'. It is known to be very instable and when you compress it, it can go off, even without a spark ! Good advice to everyone who has no intention of killing himself, his housemates or his house; do not even think about replicating this, its mortal ! Also do not compress O2 alone with such a comp.
Heck no, it would be dangerous if water was illegal
It is not illegal, but some retailers may restrict it's sale to minors due to huffing.
What is hho
No, it is not advisable to use the HHO dry cells in automobiles.
HHO generators are unregulated in all 50 states at this point.
You should check www.HGenerators.com
The related link advertises them.
Sorry, I was unable to locate any installers in your area. The following page has some helpful information on HHO self-installation that may be helpful, though. http://www.alternative-energy-resources.net/hho-generator-installation.html
HHo it
Yes it will. But you have to be producing enough hydroxy for it to work.
The method of separation is electrolysis.
no, h2o means hydrogen and 2 parts oxygen, which is water. HHO refers to the technology used in the electrolysis of water. It also may refer to the extremely flammable combination of pure hydrogen and oxygen from water electrolysis.
the electrolysis of water if done efficiently should produce 2037 litres of HHO gas to turn 1 litre of water to gas, explode that 2037 litres of HHO in a controlled environment and you have 1 litre of water back evaporation happens only when the electrolysis experiment gets to hot 1 amp for 1 hour will make 6 litres of HHO
If you are referring to water split into oxygen and hydrogen through electrolysis, the answer is alot; and far more than the onboard, engine driven electrical system can generate. If this were possible to run a car on solely "HHO" it would be the equivalent of a perpetual motion machine, and regardless of every conspiracy theory out there; every manufacturer would sell an "HHO" powered car.
