No. Your stomach will have digested it within a few hours.
The body does not digest gum, so it typically passes through the digestive system without being broken down. It can take around 2-3 days to pass through the digestive tract and be excreted in the stool.
Chewing gum has been around for thousands of years in various forms, made from natural substances like tree sap and resin. The modern idea of chewing gum as we know it today can be traced back to the 19th century, with the development of commercially produced chewing gum using chicle, a natural latex sap. This idea was later refined and popularized by companies such as Wrigley in the late 1800s.
As far as I have seen, people tend to get gum stuck in their hair if they fall asleep with gum in their mouths. Then, while they're sleeping, the gum falls out of their mouths and they roll over onto the gum. As they sleep, the gum tangles in the hair and becomes thoroughly stuck.
Gum typically contains ingredients such as gum base, sweeteners, softeners, flavors, and sometimes coloring agents.
When gum is chewed for a long time, the saliva in your mouth breaks down the gum's ingredients, like sweeteners and softeners. This makes the gum lose its elasticity and become mushy.
It stays in your system for 7 years. not even, you just end up poopin it out
Seven Years
That is a story/ fairytale that parents tell their kids all the time. Although it is hard to digest it, it doesn't stick to your stomach!! It stays in your stomach for about 5 years and then goes!! I hope that's of any help!! Don't worry about it though!!
la wallah
no it is not good for you. you can chock and it is called chewing gum it is for chewing. Swallowing gum is fine. It won't do anything bad to you. People say that if you swallow gum it won't come out of you for 7 years. What really happens is that it comes out of you like normal food would. It doesn't matter if you swallow gum. I agree with answer 2. It's ok, it's just not the best.
I swallow
Nothing really but when you swallow it,it only takes a few days not 10 years like people think.
no it does not .although it does take a few days for you to digest.
yes, I'm talking about the gum inside your mouth underneath your teeth and its true you get very ill and you feel like you need to puke.
It wont hurt you if you do, but if you did swallow the gum it would sit inside of you for about 5 years or so. You wont want to do it all the time. Should you? Probably not, but there is no real harm
if you swallow gum it could stay in there for about thrre to five years if your body doesn't dispose of it first.
Swallowing gum is harmless.
