If the test tube containing the reactants mixture became hotter then it is exothermic, and if it became colder then it is endothermic. You must do the reaction to know which is which!
Is aqueous copper (2)sulphate an effective catalyst in the reaction between zinc and hydrochloric acid.
I think it's copper sulphate
exothermicby Arindam
there is no reaction
Endothermic

Neutralisation reaction will take place. HCl + NaHCO3 ---> NaCl + H2O + CO2
zinc sulphate is made of a reaction between zinc and what acid
endothermic because it absorbs energy, and not releasing it
The difference between endothermic and exothermic energy is that exothermic energy is the reaction that releases energy and endothermic is the reaction in ehich energy is absorbed.
Magnesium oxide is a very inert substance. It does not disolve readily in water but dos dissolve in acids. the reaction with concentrated hydrochloric acid is exothermic.
magnesium+copper sulphate =no reaction
there is no reaction
Endothermic
Iron(Fe) + Copper Sulphate(CuSO4) → Iron Sulphate(Fe2SO4) + Copper(Cu)[Displacement Reaction]
