To tell if a chemical reaction has occurred look for these four things:
1) color change
2) the formation of gas bubbles
3) formation of a precipitate
4) temperature change
There are some changes that occur when chemical reactions have taken place. The color change in the reactants, formation of precipitate, formation of gas bubbles can be observed. Also a change in the temperature can occur.
Some indicators of a chemical reaction are:
- change of color
- change of odor
- release of a gas
- change of the temperature
- change of the viscosity
- formation of a precipitate
- change of general appearance
- possible explosion - possible chemiluminescence - formation of new compounds
The appearance of, 1- a new color, 2- a new smell, 3- a new state of matter, 4- increase or decrease in temperature of vessel, 5- formation of bubbles or fumes.

Some signs that a chemical reaction is taking place is color and temperature changes, and the formation of precipitates.
Because Gold is an extremely unreactive metal, which means that it is not found in any compounds, e.g. Gold Oxide, but is only found on its own. So no chemical reaction is needed to obtain gold. Also, if you look at a metal reactivity series, gold will be at the bottom of the list.
Phase changes are one example of a non chemical change. If the substance reacts the same way chemically, it has the same properties such as melting point, there has not been a chemical change.
activity series is the list of elements arranged in descending order of chemical activity.

There are a nearly-infine number of chemical compounds occurring in nature, of which only a small number occur in chloroplast. It would be impossible to list all of them.

A catalyst alters (usually increases) the speed of a chemical reaction in which there is no net change in the amount of catalyst present after reaction is complete.
There are an incredible number of different chemical reactions that take place in the liver, far too many to even list ("billions" is an underestimate if anything).
Some signs that a chemical reaction is taking place is color and temperature changes, and the formation of precipitates.
An endothermic reaction is any chemical reaction that absorbs heat from its environment. Here's a list of examples of endothermic reactions. You can use these when asked to cite an example or to get ideas to set up a demonstration of an endothermic reaction or process.
