Yes, there are four states of matter; plasma, gas, liquid and solid.
Historically, there are 3 states of matter, solid, liquid, gas based on qualitative differences in bulk properties. More recently, distictions between states have been besed on differneces in molecular interrelationships, this now included plasma. Not only does this contain plasma, but it contains about 8 other states of matter and 4 propsed states of matter. I think that for precollege education (not AP), they are teaching the historic 3 states of matter. Here is the link for my answer
gas
Plasma is a rare state of matter on Earth. It is not commonly found in nature but can be observed in phenomena such as lightning and stars. Plasma is a state of matter in which atoms are stripped of their electrons, resulting in a highly electrically conductive gas.
Because out in space their is a "thing" i guess you would call it, called black matter which makes up 98% of the universes matter and it is in a plasma state
The fourth state of matter is plasma, followed by the fifth state called Bose-Einstein condensate. There is ongoing research and debate regarding the existence of a sixth state of matter, with some proposed candidates being supersolid or quark-gluon plasma.
Interesting question. Electricity is the flow of electrons which can occur through solids, (copper, etc.), liquids, (water, etc.) or gases, (air, etc.) Electromagnetism is one of the four naturally occurring forces in the universe and occurs in all 3 basic states of matter.
plasma is the 4th state of matter....
gas
state of matter? plasma.
Electricity is not a state of matter. The four states of matter are solid, liquid, gas, and plasma.
Because most of the matter is packed into stars, which is plasma.
Plasma.
Plasma state

The fourth state of matter is plasma, which is a highly ionized gas consisting of positively charged ions and free electrons. Plasma is commonly found in stars, lightning strikes, and electric sparks.
Yes, plasma is a state of matter. It is an excited gas susceptible to magnetic and electric fields.

It is a highly charged plasma.
