When you shake soda and then open it, the carbon dioxide gas that was dissolved in the liquid is released rapidly, causing the soda to fizz and potentially overflow.
When you shake a soda, the carbon dioxide gas inside gets released and forms bubbles. This creates pressure inside the bottle or can, which can cause the soda to explode when opened.

It can vary, but usually a can of soda will explode within seconds to a couple of minutes after shaking due to the increased pressure build-up from the carbonation being released. Shake it cautiously to avoid a messy explosion.
To make a baking soda rocket, you will need a film canister, baking soda, vinegar, and water. Fill the film canister halfway with vinegar, add a scoop of baking soda, quickly close the lid, place it upside down, and stand back as the chemical reaction creates pressure that builds up and launches the canister into the air. Remember to be cautious and do this experiment in a safe open area.
A tab.
It fizzes; similar to what happens when you shake up a bottle of pop and open it!

because if it is still covered it will not explode but when you shake it in a bottle an open the bottle it explodes
It's because when you shake it the gas builds up and gets pressure and cant escape so when you open it the gas can escape and the pressure pops the soda making it like a soda volcano :)
Soda bursts, because it has carbonation and its trying to escape when you open it, with makes it burst when you shake it after opening it
IT DEPENDS. IS IT OPEN OR CLOSED? IT DEPENDS. IS IT OPEN OR CLOSED? the can i m talking about
if you open it and u see bubbles it means it has gas orrr u can shake it lol
