There is NO temperature at all below 0 (zero) Kelvin, because that is the ABSOLUTE zero point, absolute zero, the point at which there is an total absence of all thermal energy. Energy can be negative, the same as mass and eg. volume of matter.
"K" is short for "Kelvin" - a temperature scale in degrees the same size as Celsius, but whose "0" degrees point is not freezing, but absolute zero - no heat, at all. The Kelvin scale is handy for scientists because there are no "below zero" or negative degrees. This makes things a lot easier when making scientific calculations. The term was taken from "Lord Kelvin". His name was William Thompson, and he was a 19th century physicist. His english title was First Baron of (family) Kelvin, or simply, "Lord Kelvin".
This is called absolute zero. The temperature is 0 Kelvin or -273.15 degrees Celsius.
At 0 degrees Kelvin (absolute zero), molecular motion ceases and particles no longer have kinetic energy to move. At this temperature, atoms are at their lowest energy state and are not vibrating or moving.
"Absolute zero" (Zero Kelvin) is a theoretical temperature, at which all atomic motion stops. This temperature can't be reached in practice, but we can get very close. Laboratories on Earth have reached temperatures of less than a microKelvin (millionth of Kelvin, or millionth of a degree from absolute zero). In outer space, it usually doesn't get much colder than about 3 Kelvin, because of a background radiation equivalent to that temperature.
If the temperature was 90 degrees below zero and dropped 24 degrees, the new temperature would be 114 degrees below zero.
