there are alot of chemical mixtures that create exothermic REACTIONS, but no chemical in particular. my favorite chemical reaction is thermite. (alluminum powder, iron(ii) oxide)
temperatures reach 9000 degrees!
metals and alloys
conduction is physical property
not carbon.
no?
One chemical property for Iron is that it conducts heat. One physical property is that it's malleable(it can be spread or shaped by being pounded with a hammer or by being forced with rollers).
it conducts electricity because it is a metal but i am not sure about heat
Metals conduct heat and electricity well.
conducts heat readily - Dondi
no?
metal conducts heatEverything conducts heat, to a greater or lesser extent.
because gold is a metal it conducts heat and electricity very well
A vacuum does NOT conduct heat !
Because it is a heat conductor and have a greater heat capacity

Potassium does indeed react vigorously with acid and also conducts heat well.
copper
a metalloid
All.
Thermodynamics is the branch of science that conducts tests on how well heat travels in an object.
