Blue and Red
Green and magenta light combine to create white light.
The primary light colours are red, green and blue. The seconday light colours are yellow, magenta and cyan. The color palette used for mixing light is also called the "additive palette." The paint mixing palette is also called the "subtractive palette."
Vermilion and Crimson. Most people think that no colours make red because red is a primary colour however you can make red.
Magenta is made up of purple, pink, and possibly red. The darker magenta is, the more red and purple. The lighter, then more pink.
Red is a primary colour, that means you can't get it by mixing other colours, it is one of the tree basic colours.
If both colours are mixed equally they will create magenta light.
Blue and Red
In paint and other colours, it's red and white. But in a light, its blue and red which make magenta.
No combination of the three primary colors alone will make magenta. To make magenta, mix two parts red to one part blue to make red-violet. Then, add white to make it lighter (known as tinting).

Primary colours of light are red, blue and green and when combined in the correct intensity they produce white light. The secondary colours of light are magenta, yellow and cyan which result from combinations at the correct frequencies of primary colours.
Each piece of clothing usually reflect only a few colours. Pure white light contains all of the colours, so an item of clothing can reflect all of the few colours it is capable of reflecting. If an item of clothing is viewed in magenta light (which is mainly blue and red) then that clothing may show that it is only able to reflect some shades of red and/or some shades of blue.
