When an atom is in an excited state, it means that its electrons have absorbed energy and moved to a higher energy level farther from the nucleus. This higher energy level is unstable, and the electron will eventually return to its original energy level by emitting a photon of light.
You can say something is "teeming" or "brimming" with that substance or item.
I might be wrong, but I would say slower. If you mean energy in form of heat, molecules move slower if the liquid is colder, so if a liquid releases energy in form of heat (turns ¨cooler¨), than the molecules move slower. As I said, I might be wrong. Just my thoughts
Energy cannot be 'made' or 'destroyed'. It can simply be transformed to a different type of energy. Coal contains chemical energy, which will for example, be converted to heat energy in say a coal fired industrial boiler.
The metal get hot after being hit with the hammer because the hammer made a pressure on the metal by hitting many time. Let's say if you slap someone several times. He/she will feel hurt and hot.

When you say someone is hard boiled you basically mean that he is very difficult to deal with.
You say you're sorry.
It usually means that you are thinking of that person. Wether you are aware of it or not.
Maybe she didn't say your name and you only thought she did. In a room full of people or a hallway it is possible that someone else did. I think you are making something out of nothing.
When someone rants at you for doing something wrong, you can say that they're giving you an earful. The person will usually be shouting or raising their voice as well, but not always.
You mean "What does it mean if someone touches your arm and say see you next time with a smile"? It means they like you.
What do you mean when you say that.?
