Adding a catalyst to the process will make the chemical reaction go faster.

Also, the temperation, concentration, state of matter and pressure will affect the rate of the chemical reaction.

Factors that can change the rate of a chemical reaction include temperature, concentration of reactants, presence of a catalyst, surface area of reactants, and pressure (for gas-phase reactions). Increasing temperature generally speeds up reactions by providing more energy for molecules to react.

The rate of reaction is affected by temperature, concentration, particle size, and the use of a catalyst.

1. Temperature (An increase in temp causes there to be an increase in kinetic energy. This results in an increase in collision frequency and therefore, an increase in rate of reaction.)

2. Concentration (An increase in concentration increases the probability of collisions. This causes there to be an increase in rate of reaction as well.)

3. Particle Size (A decrease in particle size results increases the surface area. This increases the #of collisions which also increases the rate of reaction.)

4. Use of a Catalyst (A catalyst increases the chance of particles meeting and lowers the activation energy. This results in an increase in the rate of reaction.)

What do enzymes change about a chemical reaction?

The Reaction Rate

What is a change that affects chemical reaction rate?

Factors affecting the reaction rate:- Concentrations of the reactants- Temperature- Pressure- Sirring- Catalysts- Granulometry (and the surface area) of the reactants- Reaction order- Type of the reaction- The solvent used- External factors as irradiationetc.

This is the rate at which a substance undergoes a chemical change?

This is called reaction rate.

If the order of a chemical reaction with respect to one of its reactants is zero how does that reactant's concentration affect the rate of the chemical reaction?

If the order of a reactant is zero, its concentration will not affect the rate of the reaction. This means that changes in the concentration of the reactant will not change the rate at which the reaction proceeds. The rate of the reaction will only be influenced by the factors affecting the overall rate law of the reaction.

What are the factors affecting the rates of chemical reaction in pollution?

The factors that affect in the rate of chemical reaction are temperature and YOU XD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA jk

What leads to an increase in the rate of a chemical reaction?

Factors that can increase the rate of a chemical reaction include increasing the temperature, concentration of reactants, or pressure, as well as the presence of catalysts. These factors provide more kinetic energy for molecules to collide and react, leading to a faster reaction rate.

How does catalyst effect chemical change?

A catalyst alters the rate of a chemical reaction.

Can you change the rate of chemical change?

Yes, the rate of chemical change can be altered by changing factors such as temperature, concentration of reactants, presence of catalysts, and surface area of reactants. These factors can either speed up or slow down the rate of a chemical reaction.

What parameter involved in a chemical reaction will change with the addition of a catalyst?

The activation energy of the reaction will decrease with the addition of a catalyst, allowing the reaction to proceed at a faster rate.

What are two major factors that change the rate of a reaction?

Temperature and concentration of reactants are two major factors that can change the rate of a chemical reaction. Higher temperatures typically increase the rate of reaction by providing more energy for molecules to react, while higher concentrations of reactants result in more collisions between molecules, increasing the likelihood of successful reactions.

Undergo no chemical change during a chemical reaction?

Inert substances do not participate in chemical reactions and therefore do not undergo any chemical change. They remain the same before and after the reaction.
