A Chemical Bond
Chemical bonds hold different atoms or ions together in a chemical compound. These bonds are formed through the sharing or transfer of electrons between the atoms or ions.
A covalent bond holds the H2O atoms together. In a water molecule, oxygen and hydrogen atoms share electrons to form covalent bonds, resulting in a stable compound.
