How many neutrons does chlorine?

I would give you the answer but to find it: Take the atomic number (the one ontop) and subtract it from the atomic mass number (the one on the bottom) -rounding is involved (5 & up round up, 4 & down round down!) Hope this helps.

What is the difference between slaked lime and lime water?

When you slake a lime an leave it for a few months, there will be a layer of water (providing you used a sufficient amount) ontop of the slaked lime putty. this water is limewater and is clear but contains tiny particles in suspension. The putty is what we refer to as slaked lime.

How can you remove an ice cube from a glass of water with a piece of string without touching the ice cube?

ok so u get a lil cup wit water!you add an ice in the cup you lay a piece of string ontop of the ice add salt to da string the ice will re freeze and stick to the string Pour the water out, holding the string straight across the top so that it prevents the icecube from slipping out. Then tip the icecube out. Also, depending on the shape of the icecube and/or the length of the string, you can make either a simple loop and grab the icecube with it, or make a net and scoop the icecube out (these ways don't require the loss of the water).

Why is water such a special compound?

Ice is slow to melt and water is slow to boil. Temperatures change slowly when changing form (phases) from liquid to solid to gas.Under normal climatic conditions on earth, water exists simultaneously in all three phases. Can you name any other substance for which this is true?Water is almost a "universal solvent". It carries nutrients and washes out hands and clothes. It is an inert solvent in that it does not react chemically to form new substances with the materials dissolved in the solution. The density of water increases when it is cooled until about 4-degrees C. and then it expands. The water lines break when freezing occurs. When we sweat, it cools our bodies. The surface tension is very high which allows a bead of water to form a "roundish" drip from the faucet and allows to water to cling to soil particles.Moist air is lighter (less dense) than dry air of the same temperature and has a tendency to rise.
