the snow is changinggg state,,, from a solid to a liquid so the particles are spreadingg furtherr apart from each other and the particles will lose all the kinetic energy(movement) cos of the cold conditions :S hope thiss iss some help to youu :D
Melting is a phase change. Typically what happens is that the snow absorbs heat until it has warmed to the melting point. As it continues to absorb heat, it undergoes an isothermal (the temperature doesn't change) phase change (melts). Once it has melted, it may continue to warm up above the melting point temperature. In practice different parts of the snow will be at different temperatures. The snow at the surface will be absorbing the heat and melting. As it melts, the water from the melted snow runs down into the unmelted snow where it supplies heat to that snow to start warming it up.
When ice cream melts, the particles actually move faster, not slower, then when it is unmelted.
melting
It forms a liquid! Gallium the metal that melts in your hand!
I think you're talking about minerals. Sometimes little bits of germs are in it, because it was left from cleaning the water. Boiling it will kill the tiny bits as long as you don't add ice in it, making the particles reappear.
they go to heaven
they dont do enything they live in revines and rocky mountains
When snow melts it does a lot of things it evaporates it goes under ground it get eaten by animals it also gets packed in the groundWhen snow melts it does a lot of things it evaporates it goes under ground it get eaten by animals it also gets packed in the ground
The sun rays reflect off the snow making it bright and the sun also melts the snow.
it melts, and then comes to land as rain.
Some types of salt melts the snow
the particles in the solid vibrate so fast that they break free from their fixed positions
Ice because I know that snow melts ice.And why does snow melts ice???
It is snow like we have.Except it never melts because it is alwayd cold there.
Not really. Snow is minute particles of ice loosely joined together, and when you pack it together hard, all the particles of ice come together and makes one big lump of ice. Another thing; If it was liquid, it would be called rain, not snow.
