In general, biochemistry is the chemistry of cellular processes. This includes sugar metabolism, synthesis of DNA bases, protein synthesis, protein processes, etc. If you are thinking about majoring in biochemistry, it is essentially a CHEMISTRY degree with an emphasis on cellular Biology.

Well, I did a project on this in my technology class, I learned that they were engineers that work with things like DNA and gene splitting and things like that. If you've heard about a 3D printer that uses sheep cells to make living, working ears, well, you can thank bio chemist engineers for that.
