A flocculent is typically made of polymers or inorganic compounds that help agglomerate and settle suspended particles in liquids. These chemicals work by neutralizing the charges on particles, allowing them to clump together and form larger flocs that can be easily removed through filtration or settling.
When sodium hydroxide is added to copper sulfate, a chemical reaction occurs where a blue precipitate of copper hydroxide is formed. This can be further reacted to form copper oxide if heated strongly. The remaining solution will be sodium sulfate.
Heat test for Bence-Jones protein involves heating a urine sample to 60-100°C for 5 minutes, followed by observation for the presence of precipitate. A positive test results in the formation of a gelatinous or flocculent precipitate, indicating the presence of Bence-Jones protein. This test is commonly used to screen for multiple myeloma.

The penny is made out of copper.
Polyacrylic Acid (PAA) 【CAS】 9003-01-4 Properties:PAA is innoxious and soluble in water, it can be used in situations of alkaline and high concentration without scale sediment. PAA can disperse the microcrystals or microsand of calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate and calcium sulfate. PAA is used as scale inhibitor and dispersant for circulating cool water system, papermaking, weave, dyeing, ceramic, painting, etc.
The term "flocculent" refers to a type of spiral galaxy, not one specific galaxy. Flocculent galaxies have lots of short arm segments instead of a few long, continuous spirals.
This may refer to the so-called "flocculent galaxies". Perhaps it's the "multiple arm galaxies", which are sometimes put in with the flocculent type.
Flocculent growth refers to the formation of fluffy or clumpy structures in a liquid medium, often seen in microbial cultures. These structures can be caused by microbes aggregating together or by the precipitation of compounds from the medium. Flocculent growth can affect the growth dynamics of the microbial culture and may have implications for downstream processes such as filtration or harvesting.
When there are clouds. :) If you are talking about cloudy pool water, it could be a number of things. Take a water sample to a retail pool store for testing. If the cloudiness remains after you balance the water, try adding a flocculent. If it still remains, try shocking the pool, then adding a flocculent again.
maybe you scrap it off the bottom (if it's at the bottom) well that's what I think you would do
Bristly, bushy, fleecy, flocculent, fuzzy, hirsute, pilose, pilous, shaggy, stubbly, whiskered, woolly.
The whitefly could be the cause of the white, sticky stuff on the kumquat leaves. The white substance is called flocculent.
A grand design spiral galaxy (like Whirlpool Galaxy) has prominent and well defined spiral arms, whereas a flocculent galaxy (like Sunflower Galaxy) has short segments of spiral structure, "fluffy" in appearance, but without the dramatic well defined spiral arms of a grand design spiral.
From what I gather from reading the back of the bottle of Clarifier that I use in my pool a Clarifier is a Flocculent. The clarifier contains a polymer that attracts the smaller particles floating around in the pool that are too small to be filtered through some filtration systems. As the clarifier attracts the smaller particles it becomes large enough for the filtration system to filter it out of the water thus clariying the pool water.
Try a combination of algaecide and flocculent ask your pool shop about the best brand available in your area, then follow the instructions. you will loose about a foot of water but its quick and economical.
Gerhardt's test is a test for detecting the presence of proteins in a sample. To perform the test, nitric acid is added to the sample, followed by the addition of silver nitrate solution. A white flocculent precipitate forms if proteins are present, indicating a positive result.
The normal finding would be a lack of finding. So - no blood, no protein, no glucose, no ketones, no nitrites or nitritrates, no albumin, no bilirubin. The urine should be clear, not cloudy or flocculent, have a characteristic but not offensive odour and have a Specific Gravity between 1000 and 1020.
