Non-reactive chemicals are those that do not readily combine with other common compounds.

Medically, it can apply to a test that has not revealed the presence of antibodies to a specific pathogen. (For HIV, the diagnosis means that the person is HIV negative, at the time of the test.)

For diagnostic purposes, the term is used to indicate lack of response to light by the eyes, which has physiological implications.

this comes up often as a question in elementary school science books. they are probably talking about chemically unreactive/non-reactive household products. examples of this would be glass, ceramic, clay or stone cookware, plates, bowls, etc. this is because they do not react with acid or base contents.

What is nonreactive gases?

a nonreactive gas is a gas that does not react with any other element. you can find these nonreactive gases in the group 0 of the periodic table.

No. Copper forms a number of chemical compounds. If you want a metal about that color, gold is very nearly non-reactive.

What is a nonreactive saucepan?

A nonreactive saucepan is one that is made from stainless steel, glass, or ceramic materials. So are those coated with Teflon. They're called nonreactive because these materials in contact with the food don't react with acidic ingredients the way copper and aluminum do. Stainless steel, glass, ceramics and Teflon are highly resistant to chemical attack. And as you might expect, different materials have different advantages and disadvantages.

What is serology nonreactive?
