Isobutane is a colorless and odorless gas commonly used as a propellant in aerosol cans and as a refrigerant. It is a type of hydrocarbon that consists of four carbon atoms. Isobutanes are also used in the production of gasoline and as a fuel for portable stoves and camping stoves.
