Water molecules form weak hydrogen bonds with each other when close, which causes them to stick together. This is called cohesion. It is one of three highly unique properties of water, the other two being adhesion, which is water's ability to stick to other materials, and surface tension, which causes the water molecules to act almost like an elastic sheet, like when water is on the lip of a glass, but doesn't spill.
How is this related to Snow Leopards, Stick Insects and Octopus and Squids.

cohesion
Water has two important qualities: cohesion and adhesion. Cohesion means that water "sticks" to itself, forming drops on a flat surface. Adhesion means that water sticks to other things, such as copper pennies. The water adheres to the coin and coheres to itself, forming a bulbous drop of water on the coin.
Things that are insoluble in water are called hydrophobes or hydrophobic.
The addition of any substance that has a negative effect on water or the living things that depend on water is called : [Polution] * I hope this has helped you
Biotechnology
actually the substance in which a thing dissolves is called a solvent, and the things which dissolves in the solvent is called a solute. and water is called a universal solvent cuz it can dissolve a very wide range of solutes with a slight differende in their solubilities( that is the capacity to dissolve). fr eg in the case of sugar solution water is a solvent.
Adhesion is when water molecules stick to other molecules
Cohesive (sticks to self), adhesive (sticks to other things), Melting/Freezing point is 0 degrees C, Boiling/Condensing point is 100 degrees C.

Amongst other things - a river
cohesion causes water to adhere to itself. Adhesion causes water to adhere to other things. These two properties together allow for the "wick effect" a.k.a. capillary effect of water where water will actually climb tube.
natural resource
Non living things in an ecosystem is called abiotic(ex: rocks, water, sticks.). The livening thing in an ecosystem is called biotic (ex: animals, trees, plants.).
It is called an enema.

it is the condensation of steam or water vapour that causes water droplets to stick on the sides of the bottle
A point extending into a body of water is called a cape. The cape sticks out into the water beyond the adjacent coast.
