Which drugs would be the best treatment for nodular acne?
I do NOT recommend taking Accutane or any other oral drug to treat acne. Reason being, studies are showing that some of the side effects can have a permanent negative effect on your health and/or be life-threatening! Nodular acne and cystic acne are in the same family and ARE treatable with topical products. I'd recommend using 10% benzoyl peroxide to treat them however if you've never used BP before you should start off slowly and allow your skin to get used to it.
