Ooblong is a substance made of corn starch and water. It has some properties of a solid and some properties of a liquid. It is considered a non-Newtonian fluid. When you move your finger around in ooblong, it will feel like a liquid. If you poke ooblong, it will feel like a solid. Ooblong is made at a 2 : 1 ratio. I can't remember if it's 2 parts water or 2 parts cornstarch, but you'll know when you've made it. You can also add food coloring to ooblong.
