What is opresol?

Opresol is a solution that contains sulfonated castor oil. It is often used as a surfactant in pharmaceutical products, particularly in eye drops and nasal sprays, to help improve solubility and stability of the active ingredients. Opresol can also have some lubricating and emulsifying properties.
