What is sublimintation?

Sublimation is a process where a solid changes directly into a gas without passing through the liquid state. This transformation occurs due to the solid's high vapor pressure compared to its melting point. One common example is dry ice (solid carbon dioxide) turning into carbon dioxide gas.
