Reminds me of the ___ staring intently at a can of frozen Orange Juice in the supermarket... The can said "Orange juice concentrate". The term you are looking for is "Concentrated solution" or "Solution concentration". Molarity, "In chemistry, molar concentration (also called molarity, amount concentration or substance concentration) is a measure of the concentration of a solute in a solution, or of any molecular, ionic, or atomic species in a given volume." ----> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molarity

The amount of solute per a given amount of solvent is called the concentration; if it is expressed in terms of moles per liter (which is what chemists usually work with) then it can also be called molarity.

The "solubility" of the solute A in the solvent B should be good enough. So, the solubility of calcium carbonate in water is 0.01 w/w, for example. w/w means weight by weight, or that after making the solution, 10 grams of carbonate will be dissolved in every Kilogram of the liquid - meaning that 990 grams of each litre (1000 gm) will still be water.

When the most possible has been dissolved (at a given temperature and pressure), the solution is said to be "saturated".

The solubility is expressed in grams of solute dissolved in 1 liter of solvent, at a given temperature.

What is concentration of solutions?

The concentration of solution is simply defined as the amount of solute present in a given amount (mass or volume) of solution, or the amount of solute dissolved in a given mass or volume of solvent. In other words, it is a term used to express how much of solute is dissolved in a particular quantity of solvent or solution. Hope this helps:)

a saturated solution

What solution has the maximum number of grams of solute that can be dissolved?

The maximum number of grams of solute that can be dissolved in a given solvent is dependent on factors such as temperature, pressure, and the specific solute-solvent system. This maximum amount is known as the solubility limit of the solute in that particular solvent.

What are the 3 degrees of saturation?

Unsaturated: All the solute that can normally be dissolved in a solvent at any given temperature has not been reached.Saturated: Containing all the solute that can normally be dissolved in a solvent at any given temperature.Supersaturated: Containing more solute than what can normally be dissolved in a solvent at any given temperature.
