If we were small enough to see the individual parts of an atom, outside the atom would be more space. As we get larger, heading back to our own size, at a certain scale we would see the atom's vibration and ripples in space turn into the molecular boundary. As we continue to return to our normal size, we would see the billions of atoms in a cubic mm.
