Heterogenous network environments consist of computer systems from differenct vendors that run differenct operating systems and communication protocols
Homogenous Generally a homogenous networks is made up of computer from the same vendor or compatible equipment that all run unde rthe same OS or network operating system.
Heterogenous networks are obviously more common because most companies purchae there equipment from a variety of vendors

∙ 13y agoHomogeneous mixtures have uniform composition and properties throughout, such as saltwater. Heterogeneous mixtures have uneven composition and properties, with visible differences between the components, like a salad.

∙ 9y agoBoth heterogeneous and homogeneous are types of mixtures. Homogeneous is a type of mixture that is uniform and constant. Heterogeneous is the opposite since it is not uniform and the individual components can be seen and separated physically.

∙ 13y agoIf something is homogenous, the substance looks the same throughout. For example the substance water looks the same.
If something is heterogenous, the substance doesnt look the same throughout. You can find different things inside it. For example Hot Chocolate with marshmellows. This is heterogenous because you can identify the marshmellows in it. It has 2 things together.

Heterogeneous mixtures have visibly different components that can be easily distinguished, such as a salad or a bowl of mixed nuts. Homogeneous mixtures, on the other hand, have uniform composition throughout, like saltwater or air.
A principal difference between solid phases is the crystal structure, or arrangement, of the atoms

Homogeneous mixtures have uniform composition and properties throughout, such as saltwater. Heterogeneous mixtures have visibly different components that can be separated, like trail mix. The main difference is that homogeneous mixtures are uniform at a molecular level, while heterogeneous mixtures are not.

No they are heterogenous
a salt solution is homogenous.
Distilled water is homogenous not heterogenous.

We can found homogenous sands but also heterogenous sands.
