An example of volatile memory is the use of RAM (Random Access Memory). Working in RAM is quick, but the data is lost when the computer is switched off. An example of nonvolatile memory is the hard-drive. Though slower than RAM, data saved to the hard-drive remains when the computer is shut down.

A volatile is a variable that changes in unexpected ways and must be re-read upon every access because it may have changed since it was last read. Volatiles are typically under the control of external processes and cannot be cached. A non-volatile is a variable that has a predictable pattern of behaviour within a process and can therefore be cached for faster access.

Volatile substances will have a lower boiling point because their vapor pressure is higher and their intermolecular attractions are weaker. Non-volatile substances will have a higher boiling point for the opposite reasons.

The boiling point is the temperature at which the vapor pressure of the liquid is equal to the atmospheric pressure. Volatile substances have a lower b.p. than non volatile substances because they have fewer and/or smaller intermolecular forces of attraction holding the molecules together. So, the difference between the boiling point of volatile and non volatile material is the degree of intermolecular forces.

Placing a question mark at the end of a phrase does not make it a sensible question. Try to use a whole sentence to describe what it is that you want answered.

What is the relationship between intermolecular forces and volatilit?

A volatile liquid is easy to vaporize because there are weak intermolecular attractions between its molecules. A nonvolatile liquid is difficult to vaporize because there are strong intermolecular attractions between its molecules.

What is the difference between volatile and non-violatile memory?

The primary difference if the permanence of the data held in the memory. When talking about volatile and nonvolatile memory in the context of computers, we're usually referring to RAM(volatile) and the hard drive(nonvolatile). Volatile means that the memory must be receiving power in order to hold its contents. RAM must be fed power or the data on the RAM will be lost. A hard drive is nonvolatile, meaning it does not need power to keep data stored on it. This is why you install programs and photos etc to the hard drive. If you put them on RAM, it would disappear every time you turned off the PC!

Difference between volatile oil and non volatile in coriander?

Volatile means to evaporate rapidly. Non volatile would then be not aromatic. If you can smell an oil then it is most likely evaporating. Can you smell the coriander? Then you are smelling the oils. This doesn't mean that there are not non volatile oil (glyrerides) in the spice.
