i assume you are saying NaCl. It is a compound since it has two elements in it namely sodium and chlorine. An element however is an uncombined substance like only sodium

i think you mean NaCl, which is sodium chloride, which is found in nature. pure sodium(Na), however is not found in nature, due to the fact that it will explode if it comes in contact with H2O which is two atoms of hydrogen, one atom of oxygen, which is also known as water.

NaCl (with a lowercase L, not an I) is sodium chloride, however this is a compound not an element. The two elements are sodium and. chlorine

if you mean NaCl, it's sodium and Chlorine. In NaCI there would be sodium, carbon and iodine. (I don't know if that's even possible)

If you look on your Periodic Table you will see that Na stands for sodium and Cl stands for chlorine. Sodium chloride is table salt.
