I have no idea what you mean by "mole atom". There isn't a specific symbol for a mole of something. If you simply mean "how would you write '1 mole of sulfur' using standard chemical symbols and abbreviations", it would be 1 mol S.

Sulfur doesn't actually just come as "S", it's usually S8, but people typically don't worry about that. (It also comes in long chains and ... when hot enough to be gaseous ... S2).

15.Why does one mole of carbon atoms have a smaller mass than one mole of sulfur atoms?

Because the sum of protons, neutrons and electrons masses in sulfur atom is higher than in a carbon atom.

Why does one mole of carbon atoms have a smaller mass than one mole of sulfur atoms?

For the same reason that one dozen pencils has a smaller mass than one dozen bricks. Each atom of carbon weighs less than each atom of sulfur, and a mole of each has the same number of atoms, so a mole S will weigh more than a mole C.

What is the mass of one mole atom of sulfur?

32 grams, you can find the mass of one mole of any element by looking at its atomic mass eg chlorine has Atomic mass of 35.5 so the mass of one mole of chlorine is 35.5 grams.

How many kinds of atom are in sulfur?

Sulfur (also spelled Sulphur) is an element so it is composed only of atoms of Sulfur.

What is the weight of one mole of sulfur?

The molecular weight of 1 mole of sulfur is 32 amu or grams.

What is the mass of one mole of sulphur atom?

Sulphur: symbol S; at. no. 16; at. wt. 32: One Gram Mole of Sulphur weights 32 gm.

What percent of sulfur in sulfur dioxide?

Sulfur dioxide (SO2) consists of one sulfur atom and two oxygen atoms. The percentage of sulfur in sulfur dioxide is calculated as the mass of sulfur divided by the total mass of the compound, which is 32.07 grams per mole for sulfur and 64.07 grams per mole for sulfur dioxide. This means that sulfur represents 50% of the total mass of sulfur dioxide.

How many sulfur atoms are in 0.45 mol BaSO4?

There are 0.45 mol of BaSO4. In one mole of BaSO4, there is one sulfur atom. Therefore, there are 0.45 mol of sulfur atoms in 0.45 mol of BaSO4.

What is one atom of sulfur reacts with one molecule of oxygen to form one molecule of sulfur dioxide?

When one atom of sulfur reacts with one molecule of oxygen, they combine to form one molecule of sulfur dioxide. This reaction involves the sulfur atom bonding with the oxygen atom to create the sulfur dioxide molecule, which has one sulfur atom and two oxygen atoms.

Is the mass of 1 mole of oxygen and 1 mole of S same?

No, the (molar) mass (ie. the mass of one mole) is different by factor 2.004:Oxygen atom (O)15.999 g/mole O2,Oxygen molecule (elemental gas, O2) 31.998 g/mole O2Sulfur atom (S) 32.06 g/mole S,Sulfur molecule (bright yellow solid, S8) 256.48 g/mole S8,Sulfur molecule (S2) 64.12 g/mole S2 (there are more than 20 other allotropes)
