Na is Sodium (Nadium)

K is Potassium (Kalium)

They both produce positive ions. Na^(+) & K^(+) , and like magnets, where like poles repel and unlike poles attract, the are 'like ions' , Both positive, so they will repel and NOT combine.

So the formula NaK doesnot exist .
