single covenlent bond becuase they can share only one electron because gaining 7 electrons is not possible ,hence 2 hydrogen can have one to one pairing which tends that they have only one covelent bond between them

Two atoms of hydrogen form a hydrogen molecule. They are bonded with a covalent bond.

Is H2O ionic or covolant bond?

H2O (water) has a covalent bond between the hydrogen and oxygen atoms. In a covalent bond, the atoms share electrons to form a stable molecule.

What two atoms would typically for a covalent bond?

For a covalent bond electrons are shared between two atoms.

Is a covalent bond formed between hydrogen and oxygen atoms?

Yes, hydrogen and oxygen atoms form covalent bonds when they chemically combine.

What is the bond between carbon and hydrogen atoms?

The bond between carbon and hydrogen atoms is a covalent bond, where the atoms share electrons to achieve a more stable configuration. Carbon and hydrogen commonly form single bonds in organic molecules, which are strong and non-polar in nature.

Is hydrogen oxygen an ionic bond or a covalent bond?

Hydrogen and oxygen form a covalent bond when they combine to form water (H2O). In a covalent bond, atoms share electrons to achieve a stable configuration. An ionic bond involves the transfer of electrons from one atom to another, which does not occur in the case of hydrogen and oxygen in water.

Yes, hydrogen sulfide is a covalent compound.

What are four ways an atom can form bonds with other atoms?

By ionic bond, covalent bond, coordinate bond and hydrogen bond

Why is ethanol a covalent bond?

Ethanol is composed of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms, which typically form covalent bonds due to their sharing of electron pairs to achieve stability. In ethanol, the carbon and oxygen atoms share electrons to form a covalent bond in the hydroxyl group (-OH), and carbon atoms share electrons with hydrogen atoms to form covalent bonds within the molecule.

What do 2 hydrogen atoms form?

Two hydrogen atoms can form a hydrogen molecule by sharing their electrons through a covalent bond. This molecule is represented by H2.

What type of bond does hydrogen and fluorine make?

Fluorine atoms have a covalent bond between each other to form a covalent molecule. Fluorine bonded to a metal will have ionic bonds. Fluorine bonded to a non-meatl will have polar covalent bonding.
