Nitrate Salts. . e.g.
Sodium Nitrate (NaNO3)
Copper Nitrate (Cu(NO3)2)
Calcium Nitrate (Ca(NO3)2).
Ionically the nitrate anion is shown as ' NO3^(-) '.
You can also have 'Nitrites' ( NO2^(-) _
These give the salts.
NaNO2 (Sodium Nitrite)
Cu(NO2)2 (Copper Nitrite)
etc.,
Be careful, There is only ONE letter difference between NitrAte (NO3^(-) and NitrIte (NO2^(-) ) ,for a difference of ONE oxygen.
There is only ONE Acid that makes Nitrates (NO3^(-)). It is Nitric Acid (HNO3).
HNO3 is a strong mineral acid. HNO3 is Nitric Acid. As an aside, when Nitric Acid and Hydrochloric Acid are mixed, it is known as 'Aqua Regia' (Royal/Regal Water). Aqua Regia will react with Gold.
The salt made from nitric acid is called nitrate. Nitrate salts are compounds composed of nitrate anions (NO3-) and a cation, typically a metal ion such as sodium (Na+), potassium (K+), or calcium (Ca2+). These salts are commonly used in fertilizers, explosives, and food preservation due to their solubility in water and versatility in chemical reactions.
Iron (III) oxide is insoluble in water and most common solvents. However, it can react with acids to form soluble iron salts.
The chemical formula for nitric acid is HNO3.
This acid is the nitric acid -HNO3.

Various type of salts are formed with H2SO4.. They are:K2SO4 , Na2SO4 , MnSO4 , BaSO4
no as it is a salt of Ca(OH)2 and HNO3 so it is a salt of strong acid and strong base . so it is not basic in my opinion
CH4 an organic alkane. (Methane) NaF An inorganic salt ( Sodium fluoride) NaOH A soluble base / alkali ( Sodium hydroxide) BaSO4 An inorganic salt ) Barium sulphate) NH3 A basic gas ( Ammonia) KBr An inorganic salt (Potassium bromide) HNO3 A mineral acid (Nitric acid) NB When writing chemical formula remember single letter elements use CAPITAL letter. Two-letter elements have first letter as a capital and the second letter as small/lower case. This is standard world wide practice in order to avoid confusion over names.

It is not safe to eat any kind of bath salts. Bath salts are meant to be used for external purposes only, such as adding fragrance or minerals to bathwater. Ingesting bath salts can be harmful or toxic to your health.

Lipids are not salts.
