DNA never leaves the nucleus
Materials enter and leave the nucleus through nuclear pore complexes in the nuclear envelope. Large molecules, such as proteins and RNA, are actively transported into and out of the nucleus through these pores using specific transport proteins. Small molecules, like ions and small proteins, can freely diffuse through the pores.
Particles that are never present in an atom include free electrons (outside the nucleus), neutrinos, and positrons. These particles do not form part of the structure of the atom itself.
DNA(deoxyribonucleic acid)directs a cell's activities by specifying the structures of its proteins and by regulating which proteins and how much are produced, and where. In so doing, it never leaves the nucleus. Its basically the blueprints for everything in your body.

DNA indeed never leaves the nucleus. Instead, activated genes get transcribed by RNA polymerase, producing an RNA copy of the gene. The RNA gets processed (capped, spliced) and becomes a mature messenger RNA (mRNA). The mRNA leaves the nucleus and sooner or later attaches to a ribosome. This will translate the information encoded in it into a protein.

After mRNA leaves the nucleus, it travels to the ribosomes in the cytoplasm where it is used as a template to make proteins through a process called translation.
