The particle that most resembles a proton could either be a neutron or an electron, and we'll have to explain that. The proton has about the same mass as the neutron, while the electron has only about 1/1836th the mass of a proton. The masses of the proton and neutron are similar. And both particles are found in the nucleus of atoms. The proton has the same electrical field strength as an electron (only of opposite polarity), while the neutron has no charge. The proton and electron have the same coulomb charge on them, except the sign of the charge. Both particles are carriers of fundamental electrical charges. In these two ways, the proton could be said to be like either the neutron or electron. And how the observer "looks" at them will determine which "likeness" he sees.
A Proton
The positively charged particle in the nucleus of an atom is the proton.
This partice is called atomic nucleus.
proton there is no such thing as an electrical charged nut there is such a thing as a charged particle, that is also known as neutron
A positively charged nuclear particle is a proton. It is found in the nucleus of an atom and carries a positive electrical charge.
antiproton
A positively charged subatomic particle is a proton. Protons are found within the nucleus of an atom and carry a positive electrical charge.
This particle is the neutron.
proton
In the atom the heaviest particle is the neutron but the proton is close.
The positively charged particle in an atom is a proton. Proton - positive Neutron - neutral Electron - negative
A neutral atomic particle is called a proton. This is taught in science.
An alpha particle is about four times heavier than a proton.
This particle is the proton.
