Natural Gas
A secondary fuel is a fuel source that is used in addition to the primary fuel source in engines, generators, or heating systems. It is typically used as a backup or to boost performance when the primary fuel is not sufficient. Examples include biodiesel, propane, or hydrogen.
A black solid fuel is typically coal, which is a combustible rock used for heating and energy production. Coal is commonly found in underground deposits and contains carbon as its primary component, giving it its black color.
A home heating boiler is a woodburning water heating system that can potentially save you money on natural gas. If you cut your own wood and have an ample supply to burn, then a home heating boiler might be a great cost effective option.
There are multiple methods of determining the heating value of fuels dependant upon the compounds present. Generally either the constituents and quantities of the compounds in the fuel are determined and the known heating value of each compound is used to determine heating value of the fuel; or a total calorific measurement can be made.
Two reasons:Weight. Batteries are heavier per energy unit than fuel cells.Capacity. Fuel cells can store much more energy than batteries.As a bonus, the weight for the fuel cell fuel reduces the weight of another required consumable: water. The "exhaust" of fuel cells is pure water which astronauts can drink.
d) hot-water heating system In a hot-water heating system, heat from burning fuel warms the water in the boiler. This hot water is then circulated through pipes to radiators or baseboard units in different rooms of the building, providing heat to the space.
The efficiency of the fuel is determined by the appliance that is burning it, not the fuel itself.

Additionally, natural gas is increasingly being used as a transportation fuel in the form of compressed or liquefied natural gas.

In an electrical space heater, electrical current dissipates energy into heat, and the heat radiates from the element. In a fuel powered space heater, an orifice throttles the fuel feed (resistance to flow), which controls the heating rate. In a steam powered space heater, an orifice throttles the steam (resistance to flow), which controls the heating rate.
