A white crystalline precipitate.
Iron sulphate can be both a reactant and a product, depending on the chemical reaction. It can react to form different compounds or be produced from the reaction of iron and sulphuric acid.
To prepare phenyl benzoate from phenol, first convert phenol to phenyl benzoate by reacting it with benzoic acid and a catalyst such as concentrated sulfuric acid or concentrated hydrochloric acid at elevated temperatures. This esterification reaction will yield phenyl benzoate along with water as a byproduct. Purification techniques such as distillation can then be used to isolate the desired product.
When benzoic acid reacts with sodium hydroxide, the carboxylic acid group (-COOH) on benzoic acid will undergo a neutralization reaction with the sodium hydroxide to form sodium benzoate salt and water. Sodium benzoate is a white, crystalline solid that is water-soluble. The reaction is a typical acid-base neutralization reaction, producing a salt and water as the products.
Concentrated sulfuric acid serves as a catalyst in the nitration of methyl benzoate. It helps in protonating the nitric acid to form a stronger electrophile, the nitronium ion, which then attacks the aromatic ring of methyl benzoate to facilitate the nitration reaction. Additionally, it helps in removing water produced during the reaction to drive the equilibrium towards the product formation.
In this reaction, sodium reacts with sulphuric acid to produce hydrogen gas and sodium sulfate. The balanced chemical equation for this reaction is: 2Na + H2SO4 → Na2SO4 + H2. Therefore, the missing product is sodium sulfate.

The gaseous product in this reaction is 'hydrogen' and the salt is zinc sulfate.
sulphuric acid is a compound. It is not sulfur dioxide and water. The formula is H2SO4Sulphuric acid is the product of the chemical reaction that occurs when sulfur trioxide and water are mixed.
Dissolution of SO3 in water. to form sulphuric Acid. Industrially, sulphur trioxide is dissolved in sulphuric acid to form oleum. Oleum ( fuming sulphuric acid) is seriously nasty stuff. SO3 + H2SO4 = H2S2O7 The oleum is then slowly dissolved in water to form sulphuric acid of the given molarity(strength). H2S2O7 + H2O = 2H2SO4 It is done this way in order to prevent 'spitting and fuming'. added to which you form twice a mush sulphuric acid.

The solvent (if it is entirely a solvent, as it is in this case) makes no difference. In theory, you would get sodium benzoate, but getting sodium hydroxide to react in a system including an organic solvent will not be easy as it is barely soluble. Vigorous agitation would be required.

Reactant.
(additional)using Aliquat 336 in the synthesis of butyl benzoate from sodium benzoate and 1-bromobutane.
The reaction between copper oxide and sulfuric acid will produce copper sulfate and water. Copper sulfate is a blue crystalline solid, while water is formed as a byproduct of the reaction.
