This is what I got. I'm 16. :)

C12H22O11 + H2O ==> C6H12O6 + C6H12O6

or

Sucrose + Water ==> Glucose + Fructose

Industrially Speaking: A catalyst called invertase is used during this reaction. Yeast is also added to the Sucrose (I don't know when).

I've Checked my answer: http://www.ucc.ie/academic/chem/dolchem/html/comp/ethanol.html

Hope This Helps.

Most probaly it is a two-fold oxydation of (eg.) glucose.

Reductant: C6H12O6 --> C6H8O6 + 4H+ + 4e-

Oxidant: 4H+ + 4e- + O2 --> 2H2O

(but other 'oxidants' than oxygen might be more suitable, however can't think of any proper example)

If im not mistaken it would be the decompostion reaction because one element/compound breaks down into two different compound/elements.

How do I balance this chemical reaction CO2 H2O- C6H12O6 6O2 6H2O?

CO2 H2O- C6H12O6 6O2 6H2O is NOT a chemical reaction. Where are the reactants and the products? Is it CO2 + H2O ==> C6H12O6 + O2 ? That would be an unbalanced equation whose balanced equation would be6CO2 + 6H2O ==> C6H12O6 + 9O2 (NOTE: no H2O on the right side)
