I don't know for sure, but I melted a beer can with a smoke bomb. The aluminium actually evaporated (if that's even possible) as there was nothing left of the can. So well over 660 degrees.

Can you give me a conclusion on the solubility curve of potassium nitrate?

The solubility curve of potassium nitrate shows that its solubility increases with temperature. This means that more potassium nitrate can dissolve in water as the temperature rises. Additionally, the curve can be used to predict how much potassium nitrate will dissolve at a certain temperature.

What color would Potassium nitrate burn?

Potassium nitrate typically produces a purple flame when burned.

What chemical's solubility is most affected by change in temperature potassium nitrate or salt?

Potassium nitrate's solubility is more affected by changes in temperature compared to salt. Generally, the solubility of solids in water increases with temperature. Potassium nitrate has a significant increase in solubility with temperature, while salt's solubility is relatively unaffected by temperature changes.

Is potassium nitrate flameable?

Potassium nitrate itself is not flammable. Only when it is combined with something that has the potential to burn (sugar, wood chips, glycerin, etc), it can increase the flammability and burn rate of that substance.

What happens to the solubility of potassium nitrate as the temperature rises?

The solubility of potassium nitrate increases as the temperature rises. This is because an increase in temperature provides more energy for the solvent molecules to break apart the solute particles, allowing them to dissolve more easily.

How does temperature affect the amount of potassium nitrate that will dissolve in water?

Generally, as temperature increases, the solubility of potassium nitrate in water also increases. This is because higher temperatures provide more energy to break the bonds between the potassium nitrate molecules and the water molecules, allowing more potassium nitrate to dissolve.

NAME OF KNO3?

KNO3 is the chemical formula of potassium nitrate.

Does the solubility of potassium nitrate in water increase or decrease as the temperature rises?

The solubility of potassium nitrate in water increases as the temperature rises. This is because heating water increases the energy of its molecules, allowing them to break apart the solid potassium nitrate more effectively and dissolve it.

Explain how you would prepare a saturated solution of potassium nitrate in water?

Add potassium nitrate to distilled water while stirring continuously; stop adding potassium nitrate once the chemical becomes saturated and stops dissolving in the water. Filter the solution into an evaporating dish and measure the temperature of the solution. Measure the temperature and carefully heat the solution under low heat. Weigh the potassium nitrate to determine its solubility. You should find that approximately 36 g of potassium nitrate can be dissolved in 100 ml of water at room temperature (25 degrees Celsius). santosh kumar.batchu santoshkumar@gmail.com

Which one of the graphs shown best describes the solubility of potassium nitrate (KNO3) in water at different temperatures?

The graph showing an increase in solubility of potassium nitrate with increasing temperature best describes its solubility in water. This is because potassium nitrate has a positive solubility-temperature relationship, meaning its solubility increases as the temperature of the water increases.

What is the solubility of potassium nitrate increases in temperature?

The solubility of potassium nitrate increases with temperature. This is because higher temperatures provide more energy to break the bonds between the solute (potassium nitrate) and solvent molecules, allowing more solute to dissolve.

What does Potassium nitrate do when met with oxygen?

Potassium nitrate itself is a source of oxygen, and it is not flammable by itself. So in oxygen, even in a very high amount of it, nothing would happen. However, if any combustible substance is combined with potassium nitrate and ignited, it would burn.
