The transformation of a liquid in a gas under the boiling point is called evaporation.
I think its evaporation.
sublimation
boiling
They gain energy. For a solid to become a liquid, energy has to be added so that the molecules can break their bond and move freely past each other. Liquids have a higher kinetic energy than a solid.
When a liquid evaporates it gains energy from heat and the particales begin moving faster and breaking free, turning into a gas. When a gas condenses it loses its energy because of lack of heat, the particales slow down and become a liquid again. When a liquid frreezes it loses even more heat from colder tempratures and the particales lose more energy and slow down so they may only vibrate, the liquid becomes a solid with particales tightly packed together. Melting happens when solid particales gains enough energy from heat to move slightly faster and over lap each other, turning them into a liquid. Different objects have different melting, boiling, condensing and freezing points. Hope this helped! :)
When a solid gains thermal energy, its atoms and/or molecules begin to move (vibrate) faster and faster as the temperature continues to increase. Eventually, the particles that make up the solid will gain enough thermal energy in order to separate into a liquid through melting or into a gas through sublimation.
When an atoms gains an electron the atom changes into a negative ion and when an atom loses an electron the atom changes into a positive ion.
Electrons
when water gains or loses heat, it changes its state. When liquid water gains heat, it changes its state from liquid to gas. It becomes water vapor. When solid gains heat, it melts an changes its state from solid to liquid. When gas loses heat, it condenses into liquid. Gas, to liquid. When liquid loses heat, it becomes solid
The latent heat of fusion
They gain energy. For a solid to become a liquid, energy has to be added so that the molecules can break their bond and move freely past each other. Liquids have a higher kinetic energy than a solid.
It depends. Exapmle: If a solid changes into a liquid, it looses mass. If a liquid changes into a solid, it gains mass. I think...

The energy change that occurs when an atom gains electrons is called the
Yes, and no. It is when the plant takes in sunlight, and changes it in to energy, so it gains energy, and releases oxygen.
The heat energy required to change a substance between solid & liquid at constant temperature is called the "latent heat of fusion". If the change is from solid to liquid the substance gains this energy. If the change is from liquid to solid the substance gives up this energy. The exact amount of latent heat of fusion is different for different substances.
It is called condensation. This is because the gas is like a bean bag chair: it's all loose and spread out. When it becomes a liquid, it has to condense from beans to a block of Styrofoam to stay together more, hence the term "condensation".
Water Vapour is water in a gaseous state, so it has to evaporate to become a gas.Related Information:When matter gains enough energy, it changes state, from a solid to a liquid or a liquid to a gas.In rare cases it can change from a solid to a gas also.
Energy - usually heat energy causes a solid to turn to liquid.
