Alkynes: they contain SP hybridized Carbon atoms. The 2 SP hybridized orbitals of two adjacent carbons overlap, leaving two more unhybridized p orbitals, which overlap. This forms three pairs of shared electrons over two carbon atoms, or simply, a triple bond.

Alkynes contain triple bonds.
