In chemistry, there are no sp4 or sp5 hybrid orbitals because the maximum number of hybrid orbitals that can be formed by combining s and p orbitals is four (sp3 hybridization). This is due to the limitations of the atomic orbitals and the way they combine to form hybrid orbitals.
Sp5 hybridization is significant in molecular geometry and bonding because it allows for the formation of trigonal bipyramidal shapes in molecules. This type of hybridization involves the mixing of one s orbital and five p orbitals to create five sp5 hybrid orbitals, which are arranged in a trigonal bipyramidal geometry. This arrangement allows for the bonding of five atoms around a central atom, leading to the formation of complex molecular structures with unique properties and reactivity.

Specialist 5 - it's a discontinued Army rank. A Specialist got the same pay as a Sergeant (also pay grade E5), but was not a noncommissioned officer.
Nonexistent. There used to be several grades of Specialist ranks. They would be paid the same as the NCO rank in the same pay grade, but would not be NCOs. They would be SP4 (E4), SP5 (E5), SP6 (E6), SP7 (E7), SP8 (E8), and SP9 (E9). Eventually, most of these were done away with, leaving only the SP4 rank, which was known simply as Specialist, and the abbreviation changed to SPC. There was never a Specialist 3 (SP3) - the only rank in that pay grade is Private First Class.
the 249th resurfaced the toul airbase runway in 1963. i, sp5 Robert Ellis was the paveing machine operator. the airwing was flying rb66's. we were out of chambley and the company HQ was at etain.
Technician ranks were non-leadership NCO ranks for people who had technical experience in a certain field prior to enlisting. For example, if a truck driver was drafted to serve as a truck driver in the military, they could be promoted to a higher technician rank for their previous experience. Tec4 would've been equivalent to a Specialist (E4) in the Army today, but wore a Corporal's chevrons with a "T" underneath it. The colouration of the Technician ranks was also a lighter colour than the standard NCO chevrons.
If your running Windows NT4 SP5, 2000 or XP: Open services and see if the ftpupd service is running, if so stop it. Then, access your Command Prompt (go to run, type CMD - this will bring up the DOS prompt) Use the dos command (CD) to go to the location of the file and use the delete command to remove it.
When I enlisted in 1964 I was making $64.00 per month After a few weeks I was promoted to PVt/E-2 and it went to $68.00 per month. After about five months I was promoted to PFC/E-3 and it went to $78.00 per month. At about 18 months in I as raised in rank (actually it's not a promotion) to Specialist 4th Class (E-4)and the whopping sum of $104 per month. About this time we got an across the board raise and I jumped to $140.00 per month.Shortly thereafter I was converted from SP4 to Corporal which is still an E-4 rating but is a Non Commissioned Officer. In theory a SP4 was a Specialist but held no more actual rank than a PFC. (That same thinking went for SP5/SP6)The pay charts showed Specialist ratings through Specialist seventh class but I never saw anything higher than a SP5. In about 1966 I was promoted to Sergeant/E-5 and made about $200.00 a month. I got out in 1968 as a Staff Sergeant/E-6 making a base pay of $390.00 per month. In addition to your base pay you also drew a few dollars a month uniform allowance, a few bucks for overseas pay, about $50.00 for combat pay if in Vietnam and additional pay for hazardous duty like jumping out of airplanes, etc. There was also extra pay for incentive if you were in a job that was hard to fill or required a lot of training. It could get real good (several hundred dollars a month for some jobs) I was a Military Policemen and the highest extra pay allowed for that MOS was superior performance pay of around $30.00 per month. If you are not confused enough already there was also extra pay for quarters and rations that kicked in at about the E-6 level and really good TDY (temporary duty) pay if you were working detached duty where there was no military base nearby. I think the highest combined pay I earned was a shade less than $500.00 per month.Depending on where you were stationed the pay was great or terrible. As a PFC and SP4 on Okinawa I was only broke a few days out of each month. The EM and NCO clubs took real good care of you and had lots of "free beer" nights and dime nights. The prices at the Clubs and PX were great. A carton of smokes cost me $1.10. As a Staff Sergeant drawing Quarters and Rations plus SP pay in North East Africa I was living like a king. Even though I was drawing quarters and rations It was kind of a wink wink nod nod thing and I had a room in the barracks and if I wanted to eat in the mess hall nobody ever checked my status. (I think they were supposed to charge you about $0.40 a meal if you didn't have a chow card.
Bronze Stars in the Viet War where awarded for both meritorious & valor. Obviously more meritorious Bronze Stars were handed out than the heroism ones. The Bronze Stars for valor MUST be awarded with a "V" device attached to them; on orders. These "V" devices REQUIRE a serious write up (a narrative justifying the medal). Just as all valor medals do (Silver Stars, Medal of Honor, etc.). If this man was awarded the BS ask to see the write up. The certificate which accompanies the actual medal will actually state on it "with "V" device" and for "heroism." Or it will say for meritorious reasons. If the BS is for heroism a letter (orders) will accompany the medal certificate (for framing on the wall) this letter (orders) will actually "tell the story" of how the V device was earned. Note: No orders, No medal (it didn't exist, doesn't exist, and will never exist).
