if there is sharpie on fabric hairspray might work but i dont know for sure. if it is on any dry surface then you either put water on it and then rub it with an eraser or dip an eraser in water and rub wherever the sharpie is.

Well, You can always iron it. I have not tried this yet but have heard that it is very successful. Be careful not to iron the writing onto the other side. This will not prevent it all the way but it will help the sharpie stay longer. I have also heard to spray hairspray on it, but I am not sure that will work.
