What are the function of the hygrometer?

It is used to test the specific gravity of a liquid. This basically the density of the liquid as compared to the density of pure ( distilled) water. This information can be of great help in detecting medical problems. It is also used to determine the contents of chemical compounds during analysis.

How do the ions in distilled water affect its purity and conductivity?

The ions in distilled water are removed during the distillation process, which increases its purity. As a result, distilled water has low conductivity because it lacks ions that conduct electricity.

Why distilled water use in chemical experiment?

distilled water is used in chemical experiments because you already have a control group (whatever type of water you used) and you need other groups that dont have the same water in them to compare the control group to!

Would distilled water test negative for starch?
