To get dry erase marker out of suede, simply erase it! Use a white artist's eraser. I have a 3yr old who wrote on my new suede sofa with a black dry erase marker. I was afraid it would discolor the fabric, but it didn't. I can't even tell it was ever there.
To remove stains from suede, first try using a suede brush or a soft cloth to gently brush the stain. For more stubborn stains, you can lightly rub the area with a white eraser or apply a small amount of white vinegar with a cloth. If you do I would suggest putting them on the shoe rack so that they are not bouncing around in the dryer and putting it on air dry, on a cool setting. The best way to let suede dry is to lay it in the sun on a cool day.If it's synthetic suede then read the manufacturer's directions on the care tag.
Faux suede and real suede have about the same durability, and both make excellent curtains.
