As all children know, Jacqueline's childhood was generally a good time but there were the general rows between her parents (see her autobiography from when she was 0 to 9 years old called Jacky Daydream) and the times she had problems with boys (see My Secret Diary). She used to write a lot (as expected!) and read a lot too (also expected!) Ever since she was five or six she longed to be an author. Her parents laughed at her sadly but she came through and became, from little Jacqueline Aitken (her maiden name), the amazing, fantastic Jacqueline Wilson!
