because hannah started kissing him at a party and really liked him then out of no wear she started crying and screamed at him to get out even though she liked him. so she used the tape to apologize to him and some other people on the list ended up on the list because of things they did at the same party so she kind of needed him to tell the story.

1.) he liked Hannah and he wanted to get back at the people on the list

which isnt really a pro

2.) he wanted to know why he was on the list i know these arent really problems he faced but they were still problems
