I recommend not to read them in published order but to read them in chronological order. I started to read them in published order and I got done with Redwall and started to read Mossflower. Then I was like, what in the world the characters are totally different. Then I looked it up and the published order is different from the chronological order. I looked it up and now I read them in chronology.
