Nick describes Tom and Daisy as careless people who destroy peoples lives and then use their money to clean up the mess. They dont care about any responsibilities and just do whatever they want to do.
Daisy Miller is a nice book but I cried at the end...

At the end of "The Great Gatsby," Nick Carraway moves back to the Midwest, to escape the extravagance and moral decay of the East Coast. Daisy remains in East Egg with Tom, while Gatsby is dead and his dream of being with Daisy is shattered.
